Notes on quiet interfaces
A sample note about using paper-like constraints for personal tools.
Quiet interfaces borrow from documents: one clear column, restrained navigation, and links that do most of the expressive work. The goal is not to remove personality; it is to keep the page from interrupting the reader.
Prefer structure over decoration
Headings, lists, and hairlines give a page enough shape for scanning. If a detail does not help the reader choose what to do next, it can usually wait.
Keep demos close to real use
React islands are most useful when they prove a specific interaction: a form state, a table, a fetch boundary. The rest of the site can stay static and fast.
